Benson Mack joins as senior director.
Hong Kong – 17 August 2022 – A leading global professional services firm Alvarez and Marsal (A&M) further strengthens its pan-Asian Forensic technologies practice and eDiscovery team with appointment of Benson Mack as a senior director. The appointment of Mr. Mack marks the next phase of strategic growth for A&M’s pan-Asia forensic technology practice following the recent appointments of Daniel Tay in Singapore and Jay Chong in Hong Kong.
Based in Hong Kong and reporting to the Managing Director and Head of Forensic Technology for Asia Davin TheoMr. Mack will focus on growing A&M’s forensic technology, e-discovery and cybersecurity offerings in multiple Asian markets.
Mr. Mack joins A&M after five years at law firm Baker McKenzie, where he was most recently Associate Regional Director, APAC, Global eDiscovery & Data Advisory. In this role, he was responsible for building and developing the consulting practice across the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. A specialist in cross-border forensic investigations, Mr Mack has managed e-discovery assignments in the Asia Pacific, UK and US jurisdictions. Prior to his latest role, he was a consultant (eDiscovery), legal technology, at Kroll OnTrack. He is a Certified Electronic Discovery Specialist (CEDS).

Demand for eDiscovery is particularly strong in the technology sector in the Greater Bay Area, stemming from companies involved in cross-border disputes in mainland China and in bankruptcy cases throughout the region where we collaborate with A&M’s Restructuring and recovery team,” said Mr Teo.
