New School of Health and Behavioral Sciences with unique Interdisciplinary education – integrating research in health sciences, cognitive and behavioral sciences, data analysis and business – addresses the growing demand for health experts and prepares students for successful careers in data-rich STEM fields.

Data from the Bureau of Labor and Statistics show a growth rate of 16% for health professions by 2030, more than three times the projected average employment growth rate of 5%, with projected incomes well above the national average and Nova England for college graduates.

Bryant recently commissioned an architectural design to create a special science wing and an expanded laboratory and classroom space within his remarkable Unistructure facility.

The School of Health and Behavioral Sciences at Bryant University is based on the success of its School of Health Sciences, first established in 2014, and its fully accredited master’s degree in Medical Assistant Program (MSPAS). and Center for Health and Behavioral Sciences. Bryant’s bachelor’s degree in healthcare analysis is the first of its kind on Rhode Island. The interdisciplinary degree integrates health sciences, statistics, mathematics and data science with behavioral science and is designed to provide students with real, specialized career skills in areas such as biomedical research and public health. At Bryant, health analytics majors will have the flexibility to be secondary to an additional discipline of their choice from college or business or from the College of Arts and Sciences.
The Bachelor of Exercise and Movement Science builds on the strength of the university’s highly competitive NCAA Division I athletics program to prepare graduates for CSCS certification and growing career opportunities in a wide range of fitness and fitness programs. athletic conditions. The program develops the basis for understanding and analyzing human movement, including an assessment of the overlapping influences of anatomical, physiological, psychological and neurological factors.
