Before Marvel Studios started creating its own Disney + shows, there was a Marvel TV department that ran ABC, Hulu, Netflix and Freeform. When Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feigi rose to the CCO of Marvel Entertainment, Marvel TV was overwhelmed by his responsibilities. However, this meant the end of Marvel TV, which led to the cancellation of many shows or reaching a natural end point.

Marvel TV launches via Netflix Defenders a franchise focused on several iconic street characters from the Marvel universe. One of them was Derdevillewho lasted three seasons with Charlie Cox as Matt Murdoch. Following the cancellation of the show in 2018, it will take more than three years for Cox to return to MCU and this time in the movies. After many rumors, Cox repeated Daredevil Spider-Man: No way home, serving as Peter Parker’s lawyer in a short but memorable cameo. When Cox returned to the MCU, the actor had already revealed that he knew where his character would appear next.

S She-Hulk as the next original Disney + show from Marvel Studios, rumors claim that Cored’s Daredevil will appear in the series. Although neither confirmed nor denied by Marvel Studios, this made fans excited to see the actor, who we hope will dress again as the Devil from Hell’s Kitchen. Now a fan artist, Bobby_Art, is making a poster depicting Cox as Daredevil, but with a new costume that adapts Matt’s original costume from the comics. The whole time Derdeville seasons 1-3, the Netflix drama adapted Matt’s first black suit before he upgraded to the red iteration. When Daredevil debuted at Marvel Comics in April 1964, Matt wore a red-and-yellow suit, one of the last popular versions that the MCU had not yet adapted. If the rumors are true, Cox is in She-Hulktime will tell whether his character will coincide with a lawyer-related storyline involving Jennifer Walters, or whether he actually appears as Daredevil.

In general, MCU has always been relatively good at adapting as many costumes to different characters. It won’t be shocking if Cox’s Derdeville ends in a red-and-yellow suit. If not in She-Hulkit is always possible that he will receive a new suit in the development of Disney + Derdeville a series that will serve as a sequel to the Netflix show. Whether Matt gets a red-and-yellow redesign through Melvin Potter or a new player depends on who is in charge of the story. With Disney + Derdeville the sequel series is in early development, it remains to be seen when Matt Murdoch will wear a suit other than the one he wears to court.
