HK’s business is ready to rush back to the mainland

This week, easing quarantine rules in China promises to raise various companies in Hong Kong with production lines, suppliers and other operations in the mainland.

The joint mechanism for prevention and control of the State Council announced on Tuesday that it would shorten the period of isolation for international travelers to seven days in quarantine centers plus three days at home, less than the previous requirement of 14 + 7 days.

The Hong Kong Chinese Manufacturers Association said the relief could significantly reduce business travel costs for its members.
