Are James Reid and his record label Careless Music collaborating with GOT7’s BamBam and Starship Entertainment? Fans think so, as the actor-singer seems to have dated the Thai rapper and K-pop agency.
Reid visited Starship Entertainment alongside Careless Music CEO Jeffrey Oh and actress Lisa Soberano, who recently signed to his label, as seen on Oh’s Instagram Stories yesterday, July 4.
Oh didn’t give any more details about the meeting, only captioning it “Careless X Starship.”
Starship Entertainment is based in South Korea and manages K-pop groups Monsta X, WJSN and IVE.

Meanwhile, the collaboration between Reid and BamBam seems to have been teased by one @porksterr, who is apparently one of Reid’s friends, via Instagram Stories, also yesterday. He showed three hands on top of each other as he tagged Reid, BamBam and Korean artist Junwoo Yoon.
“Let’s go in!” he said.

Given this, fans started making witty remarks and speculating about a possible collaboration.
“James Reed is lining up GOT7. Baka 8th member yarn,” one @uhheocham joked. (It’s James Reid [working with] GOT7 members one by one. Maybe he’s the eighth member.)

If Reid is indeed working on a joint project with BamBam, it will mark the second time he and Careless Music have joined forces with a GOT7 member.
It can be recalled that last March, the actor-singer released the song “Hello 2.0 (Legends Only)” featuring GOT7’s JB and Taiwanese-American rapper ØZI.
The track’s music video, which was released the same month, featured Careless co-star Nadine Lustre, Momoland’s Nancy, Soberano’s boyfriend Enrique Gil, actress Maris Racal and singer Zack Tabudlo, among others. /ra
