Kaia Health Appoints Industry Veterans for CTO and CPO to Consolidate Leadership in Digital Therapy

The new investment in talent is in line with the company’s larger strategy to strengthen the company’s technological infrastructure and product roadmap for next year.

As the company’s new Chief Technical Officer, Chris Lytchi will lead research, development, security, compliance and technical operations. He brings to the position a passion for mission-focused hyper-growth to deliver successful results as well as decades of experience in information technology. This includes research experience researching machine learning and artificial intelligence for the Agency for Advanced Defense Research Projects (DARPA), natural language processing, biomedical informatics and critical command and control systems. Prior to joining Kaia Health, he served as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technical Officer at Properoots, Technical Director at Autolist, Technical Director at Dictionary.com and Vice President of Engineering at TrueCar. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of California Lutheran University and a master’s degree in business administration from Stanford University in business.

As CPO, Simon Hayhurst will lead product strategy and implementation, product design and content. He brings to the role a passion for the ways in which technology can transform human experience and expertise in a variety of industries, from start-ups to large-scale organizations. Joining Ceres Imaging, where Simon served as CPO, his previous roles include product manager for high-growth companies, including RocketFuel and Yume, and product leader roles on Facebook, Adobe, SGI and Autonomy. Simon has also served as an advisor to many startups. He has a master’s and a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Cambridge and an MBA from Wharton.
