Kaleidoco, an augmented reality company and Web3, has raised a new round of $ 7 million in funding from the blockchain gaming community.

The company will debut with its Metaverse Particle Ink at the opening of the TED2022 event, and also has a live AR installation in Las Vegas.

The founders are Jennifer Tuft and Cassandra Rosenthal, both veterans of the film industry with decades of experience.

“When Cassandra and I tested the LightPoet installation in 2017, we immediately realized that this is something we want to incorporate into the transmedia property of the future. The richness and emotionality of the characters and art, combined with the seamless and invisible application of technology, was unlike anything none of us had seen before, “said Jennifer Taft, co-founder and co-CEO of Kaleidoco, in a statement. “We were immediately attracted to this world, not only because of its creativity and beauty, but also because of the purposeful and flawless application of technology.”

Kaleidoko is described as a Web3 entertainment technology company whose original AR experiences enhance human connection. His original mixed reality mixed universe, Particle Ink, is within the 2.5 dimension. Using the Kaleidoco AR technology platform, Metaverse encapsulates with particle ink

Investors include leading names in blockchain and games such as Animoca Brands, GameFi Ventures, Gemini, Jane Street, Adit Ventures, Merit Circle, Nexo, HexTrust, SuperChain Capital and TSG (The Seelig Group).

Funding will be used to accelerate growth and attract key, strategic employees as Kaleidoco continues to build and launch products.

The founders have decades of experience in entertainment and intellectual property creation (eg Sundance Lab alumni, CAA, Paramount and Amblin projects, etc.).

At TED2022, the presentation showcases Kaleidoco’s unprecedented, patented Multi-Viewer augmented reality technology, enabling nearly 1,400 guests to attend simultaneously.

Kaleidoco also recently opened the first live portal in the 2.5 dimension, Partial Ink: The Speed โ€‹โ€‹of Darkness, in the Las Vegas Arts District, with the experiment open Wednesday through Sunday at 7:00 and 9:00 p.m. For tickets and more information, visit www.particleink.com.

Kaleidoco will expand Metaverse Particle Ink with the release of its first AR NFT collection later this year and the GameFi experience using its patented Augmented Unification technology to follow. Kaleidoco plans to make its AR Tech Platform available to other developers next year.

Particle Ink portals exist in many environments, both inside and outside web3. The variety of access points and accompanying experiences allow us to have a wide demographic. Kaleidoco’s core team consists of nine people. It was founded in 2018 after Tuft and Cassandra Rosenthal experienced a brilliant and transformative LightPoets installation at the Sundance Film Festival in 2017. The activation was created by their co-founding partners.

After founding Kaleidoco in collaboration with The LightPoets in 2018, the company built its own technology and debuted its Metaverse with particle ink at the launch of TED2022.
