Suffering a health scare, the singer left the stage “without explanation” mid-singing before sharing on Instagram that he had been diagnosed with laryngitis.

And explaining that he “needs to put his health first”, the 49-year-old had to cancel his next show as he was due to appear at Blues Passions in Cognac on Sunday night.

Posting to her 1.5 million Instagram followers, the former Oasis star apologized for leaving early as she explained the diagnosis.

The singer wrote: “My apologies to everyone who came to Festival Bureaugard last night, I was so disappointed I had to cut the set short. Today I was diagnosed with laryngitis and the doctors told me to rest.

Admitting he “never wants to let anyone down”, Liam further apologized, revealing that “doctors’ orders” meant he would not be taking part in his next scheduled show.

“Unfortunately this means I also have to cancel my upcoming show in Cognac. I never want to disappoint anyone. I’m really sorry for any disappointment, but I have to put my health first LG x,” Liam concluded.

But it was all mixed up as many fans jumped to Liam’s defense, wishing him a speedy recovery.

He’s been busy lately as he’s toured numerous festivals around Europe, delivering a high-energy performance at the Lucca Summer Festival in Italy just days before his diagnosis.

He also performed a show-stopping performance at Knebworth last month, returning more than 20 years after Oasis played their biggest shows at the venue.

And hoping he’s on the mend, the rocker is set to hit Finland on the 15th before heading to New Zealand and Australia just days later.
