Packers coach Matt LaFleur: “I want everyone” in volunteer OTA

GREEN BAY, Wis. – “Control what you can control” is exactly from Coachspeak 101.

Green Bay Packers coach Matt Lafleur wants all of his players to attend the volunteer team activities. But this is something he cannot control. As was the case last week, a number of key players were absent for the start of the second week of the OTA on Tuesday.

Although the attendance table was out of LaFleur’s control, he seemed at least a little worried that so many players were not present. Under former coach Mike McCarthy, the Packers were generally fully involved, or at least close to him, until the end of the OTA. So far, the participation is significantly less than 100 percent.
