TEXAS snapped a 4-game losing streak with a win in tonight’s series opener, which marked the start of a 10-game homestand leading into the All-Star break… had a 4th straight game decided by one run, earning 1st win since stretch (now 1-3)…picked up first home win against Minnesota since 9/2/18 at Globe Life Park as the club had dropped 7 straight to the Twins in Arlington before tonight.

THE BIG INNINGS: The Rangers scored 6 runs in the 5th inning to turn a 3-0 deficit into a 6-3 lead…has scored most runs in an inning since 5/28 at OAK (6-run 5th) and 5th time this season to score 6+ runs in a frame…was one run short of season high set on 5/17 vs. LAA (7-run 8th).
