Business deal with DIRECTV ensures NFL fans have access to Prime Video’s exclusive prime-time package TNF high definition gaming while out and about with friends and family
NEW YORK and THE SECOND, California., August 23, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Amazon and DIRECTV have entered into a multi-year agreement to offer Prime Video exclusive Thursday Night Football lineup for NFL fans visiting more than 300,000 sports bars, restaurants, hotel lounges, casinos and sportsbooks, shops and services, and many other locations nationwide.
DIRECTV for BUSINESS will now stream live TNF action to not only well-known national chains, some of which boast 1,000 locations or more, but also your favorite local pub just down the street. Fans who visit any of these same locations will receive Thursday Night Football extensive pre-match, half-time and post-match coverage.

The first one TNF game, available to commercial accounts through DIRECTV for Business, is the NFL’s final preseason game Thursday, August 25 between San Francisco 49ers at Houston Texans. The deal also includes all 15 regular season games Thursday Night Football games launch Thursday, September 15 when the Los Angeles Chargers host the defending AFC West champion Kansas City Chiefs.
All current DIRECTV FOR BUSINESS customers subscribed to Business Entertainment, Business Xtra, Commercial Entertainment, Commercial Xtra, Commercial Choice PLUS and Spanish-language Commercial Mas Ultra will automatically receive this new Prime Video TNF channel at no additional cost. The new Prime Video content will sit on DIRECTV channel 9526 alongside other major sports streaming services and events.
