Tennessee Titans: Mason Kinsey faces ‘fight of his life’

NASHVILLE – To say Mason Kinsey isn’t the same player he was two years ago would be an understatement.

He was then an undrafted rookie from a Division III school (Berry College) that had never sent a player to the NFL. He was a wide receiver with obvious physical attributes — elite speed, in particular — but no significant experience against the caliber of competition he was suddenly facing every day in practice.

Kinsey brought a wide-eyed, kid-in-a-candy-shop vibe that made him one of those underdogs that fans love to love, but it didn’t exactly match the egos and accomplishments of those who took a much more traditional path.
