The sidewalks in downtown Pasadena are being turned into art canvases this weekend. Cretaceous art.
The Pascadena Chalk Art Festival – in all its colorful iterations – filled the sidewalks in and around Paseo Colorado, making it an annual destination for those who love to see the land itself become a platform for creation.
There were large and small murals.
Organizers said there will be about 200 murals and more than 500 artists, art galleries and a quiet auction, a children’s art area and live music.
