The Halloween season brings extra spooky magic to Disney Parks, with chilling overlays for some attractions, spooky decorations, and even special characters visiting the park for “Howl-iday.”
With so much to see and do during the Halloween season at Disneyland, it’s easy to forget the park’s regular entertainment offerings, like Fantasmic! and the Main Street Electrical Parade, but recently one guest was filled with joy after learning that a favorite entertainment offering could be expanded into the park’s spooky festivities.
Redditor u/nicolelynnejones shared her excitement at being able to see the Main Street Electrical Parade with performances near the park’s Halloween season, posting a screenshot of the dining packages offered at the Plaza Inn, which typically include “prime positioning for parades and other festivities ,” showing dates available through September 3rd, days before the first Oogie Boogie Bash event.
MSEP is also entering the Halloween season. (These are MSEP Plaza Inn packages) from Disneyland
While fellow Redditors shared her excitement and hoped the parade would continue to perform until Christmas, it’s hard to say if the iconic parade will continue to perform into the Halloween season, as Disney has not released any official information regarding performances on parade during the season.

When we tried to check availability for the Plaza Inn dining packages, we could not find any available time slots, although the site currently allows Guests to check availability until September 5th. It is unclear if this means all available time slots have already been filled or if the reserved viewing dining packages for the Main Street Electrical Parade are changing on this date.
Disneyland’s official website is currently showing Main Street Electrical Parade performances through August 19. Although more dates may be added soon, we can’t be sure at this time, as again Disneyland has not released any official dates regarding the performances of this timeless nighttime spectacle.

As much as we’re excited to see this beloved classic parade light up Main Street, USA for the rest of this year, the statement made by Redditor u/nicolelynnejones is purely speculative as no official information has been released regarding extended performances in the coming months . Inside The Magic will continue to report on this topic as soon as more information is released.
More about the Main Street Electric Parade
The official Disneyland website describes this beloved parade this way:
Watch over half a million lights sparkle as this pageant spectacular returns home for its 50th anniversary of nighttime magic and imagination
Led by the iconic roller coaster and drum set featuring Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and Goofy, the Main Street Electrical Parade fills the street with iconic music, sparkling displays and fantastic floats depicting scenes from films such as Alice in Wonderland, Cinderella, Pinocchio, Peter Pan , along with the adorable and whimsical Elliot the Dragon from the Disney classic Pete’s Dragon.
New to the parade for its 50th anniversary is a magnificent grand finale that celebrates the theme of togetherness reflected in a design that brings together characters and moments from more than a dozen beloved Disney and Pixar stories. These stylized scenes – rendered in thousands of sparkling lights and electro-synth-magnetic musical sound – bring to light classic and contemporary favorites such as Encanto, The Jungle Book, Raya and the Last Dragon, The Princess and the Frog, Coco, Mulan and More ▼ . Inspired by both the design of the classic Main Street Electrical Parade floats and the artistic style of Disney legend Mary Blair’s “it’s a small world,” the new grand finale float is one of the longest and most spectacular in the 50-year history on the parade!
For the past 50 years, generations of guests have gathered to enjoy the magical splendor of this pageant. Don’t miss to catch it! The Main Street Electrical Parade will be available for a limited time at Disneyland Park.
