The Naperville Salute announces musical entertainment for Independence Day weekend

Above / Rising County Music star John Langston will take the stage at The Salute at 8pm on Saturday, July 2nd.

Naperville Independence Day Festival, The Salute, proudly announces its musical entertainment schedule for the afternoons and evenings of July 1-4.

For starters, the headliners of The Salute’s entertainment scene will include American pop, soul and jazz fusion; state; classical rock and cover, as well as a diverse musical repertoire.

At 8:00 p.m., July 1, Shining star will be the title of the main stage. Featuring 10 highly talented vocalists and musicians who harmoniously join forces, Shining Star pays tribute to Earth, Wind and Fire, celebrating four decades of great success, popularity and resilience to one of the most successful music stories ever told.

At 20:00, Saturday, July 2, a rising star of country music John Langston joins the greeting in honor of our heroes! Welcomed by Rolling stone magazine as one of the “10 New Artists in the Country and America You Must Know,” Langston is from Georgia but connects with audiences in every state. He is touring with the great country Luke Brian, and his new single “Back Words” is now on country radio.

At 8:00 p.m. Sun., July 3, The magician speaks will present a “diverse musical repertoire”. Promising “an ever-changing live show spanning six decades of music, Maggie Speaks delivers a steady stream of hits” is sure to bring together audiences of all ages at The Salute.

At 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 4, the headliner of Independence Day evening, ARRA, will come on stage. For three decades, ARRA has been a widely popular Chicago classic rock cover band, attracting large audiences in the suburbs.

Immediately after the presentation of ARRA, the event will be closed to mark Independence Day.

A few notes on Naperville Salute, More than Music

The second annual Napervil’s greeting the festival ( will continue to be a celebration of our families, our community and the values ​​of our hometown; focused around our servicemen and first responders, in a collective greeting to them and to what they keep for us: our security and our freedom.

In partnership with the city of Naperville, the Naperville Park area and sponsors, the Naplesville Greeting will once again take place on Rotary Hill, located at 443 Aurora Avenue, just across the street from Naperville Central High School.

The four-day festival will combine family-friendly entertainment, live music, food and beverage vendors, a family entertainment area, and special presentations for our military veterans.

The gates open at 16:00 on Friday and Saturday, 14:00 on Sunday and at noon on Independence Day, 4 July.

The Naperville salute is led by a team of dedicated and patriotic volunteers; thus, 100 percent proceeds from the 2022 Naples Greeting will go to help local veterans in need Naperville is in charge of the veteransorganization 501 (c) 3.

Bring your own blankets and folding lawn chairs and plan to sit on the hill for a natural view of the entertainment scene. Or dance the night away in front of the stage or on top of the hill.
