In its regularly repeated vocal sample, “Science Class” deals with the breakup of friends. “We were good friends a long time ago / We were good friends but we can’t anymore / Cause I don’t like the way you look from the optics / We swore together but now you and ni**as is a target / You see, the food in me and my ni **as is coming for the harvest / We were good friends a long time ago / Loyalty should be a blessing and never a burden / Never sacrifice a loved one because you’ve been hurt / I’ll tell you two things that are certain and one thing, that’s for sure / You already know how to show her inside, you ni**as is a curtain / We were good friends a long time ago / I finished the bag of chocolate, now I’m rolling another one / Scold dudes like your mother scolded your brother / Ni **as you swore our friendship, how could you recover? / It’s impossible to get away or hold each other / We were good friends a long time ago / Over and over, I’m so used to reflecting / I came out of the womb, you were like my C-section brother / The streets will talk, but I would to keep protecting you / No matter how I try with you, there was a deep infection / We were good friends a long time ago / Twenty years of friendship, but now I’m so ashamed / I signed the weakest link when I threw the cable / Come clean, my ni**a we put the truth on the table / I leave you all to turn to the story of Cain and Abel.” The verse is clear and thoughtful.
